A 1099 employee is an independent contractor who provides service to a company but is not an official employee of the company. You must fill out a W-9 form when you are hired and are responsible for your own taxes.
When paid by check, you will get your complete hourly wage, without any taxes taken out.
A 1099 employee has a very flexible schedule, selects their own hours by accepting available jobs presented to them, and reports/files their own tax

Our client will contact us for workers from weeks in advance to hours that same day. We text or call team members based on the client's needs and member's skills.
Once you are confirmed for the job, we will send out emails to everyone associated with the event - with all the job details, contact information and team members working with you.
You can work as much as you want or as little, based on your skill levels, availability and dependability.

You will log in / out on our mobile app. This will be your digital time card with a built in GPS.
You will be paid an hourly rate based upon your skill level and the job you're being sent out to perform.
You will be guaranteed a 5hr minimum as each worker is responsible for their own transportation, to and from the job site.
Parking costs are part of your own transportation.
A car is an asset but not a necessity as many of our locations are close to public transportation.
Terminology used in AV Business:
A1- Sound engineer. Can run digital boards & wireless mics--alone.
A2- Beginning A1. Duties include micing up presenters, assisting A1, running mics during Q & A.
V1- Video engineer. Controls all computers during presentation. Knowledgeable about video switches.
V2- Beginning V1. Duties include helping set up computers, switchers, video projectors.
STAGEHAND- Helping set-up/tear down of shows. Such as, background, screens, staging, uplighting, speakers, etc.

V1: Power Point & Video Switchers
When you clock in ON TIME / remember to clock out / and complete your shift to the satisfaction of the client for the entire 2 week pay period, you will receive a $3 PER HOUR bonus for every shift you worked during those 2 weeks!
Call offs & No shows - If they happen, you will automatically lose your bonus for that pay period.
Reminder, the Bonus Structure starts over every 2 week pay period and does not impact your regular hourly rate. It is just that, a BONUS.
Checks will be mailed within 3 business days after each pay cycle ends.
Update us with any address changes prior to pay periods ending. Any stop payment on a check is $35.
